Burial Ground
I am with two women, one older and one a little younger than me. We are at a church cemetery, standing at an open grave site. I think the site is to be for the older woman. There is a wooden casket deep down inside the grave site. The woman falls into the hole, on top of the casket. For some reason, all three of us think this is funny, and we laugh with each other about it.
I look away from the hole in the ground, and then look back into it. The casket is gone. In its place is a skeleton suspended on a rusted metal shelf. I can see deeper inside the grave site now. It looks more like a cavernous underground room that extends for a long distance. There are numerous skeletons, suspended on similar metal racks, stacked on top of each other. Almost like a filing system. I think it is curious that there is no dirt underground besides the floor and the walls of the cavernous room. So even though the skeletons are underground, they are not really buried. They feel exposed with no caskets and no dirt.
I recreated this scene in VR as well, which you can find here.
